marionette performance
St. Michaels Library |
|
On April 17 Debra and Eric performed two puppet shows at the St.
Michaels (Maryland) Public Library. All of the puppets, scenery,
and theater were built by Eric and Debra. Their daughter, Liv,
painted the scenery on the backdrop. A visiting artist friend from
Russia, Tatiana Anikina, painted the landscape and clouds on the theater's side
walls and front top.

The first story was from a children's book written and
narrated
by
local author Sue Loweree and entitled "Butterflies Don't Bark"
and the
second story was our new version of "The Three Billy Goats Gruff". |
