On those days when you need a break from the sun, what better than a lightweight Soleil hat made from woven Sinamay material? Perfect for long hot Festival days in period costuming!
Our version of a sun hat with style and functionality! The Sinamay Soleil Hat beautifully shields your eyes from the sun while allowing breezes to cool your head. You can also see through (and be seen through) the strawcloth mesh brim!
We hand-form the comfortable low crown and sew a wire into the brim, so that one side can be curved to hold a display of feathers, French roses, and a long trailing Ostrich plume.
The front of the brim can remain curved or be creased into more of a V shape, depending on your liking!
This hat is held securely on the head by a elastic cord placed behind the ears and under the hair.
